Virtual Vaudeville Title

Definition: Butsky Vutzsky

Butsky Vutzsky
They're Irish and they don't know what I mean,
That's the only way I fool dose Irish loafers,
For I am a bully sheeny glass puteen.

"Butsky Vutzsky" is a nonsense phrase in the chorus of Frank Bush's song the Sheeny Glazier. The Jewish character, Solomon Bulenrinsky, has invented these yiddish-sounding words to confuse and intimidate the Irish bullies who threaten him. George Contini, who captured Frank Bush's voice and movement for Virtual Vaudeville, performs this phrase as a hex.
